Aunt B was a wonderful server! Food was magnificent. A rare treat to enjoy a cool Texas evening on the patio. I take a medium well (heavy) steak with a thin pink line. It was perfect!
Went to a wine tasting dinner on Oct. 19. It was chaotic and very loud food was lacking in flavor. Learned nothing about the wines because they had a wedding party and it was so loud you could not carry a conversation at your own table. This is my second wine tasting and will not do this again.
We love La Riv. Chef Vira is very talented, she cares about her food and it shows! they have a new menu out, and everything we tried so far is super quality. Recently, the decor is also changed... Feel likes upscale but still comfortable place to dine on a regular base.- I think she is taking a restaurant to a new direction and truly we are LOVING it.
Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service, delicious food. The best tiramisu I've ever had. Dinner was flavorful but not too heavy. We also absolutely loved the apple spice martini. Every time we have dined here we've been greeted by the Chef. Definitely a favorite Central Texas spot for us.
