A truly great group of people, story time is awesome and the kids area is great. Yes homeless people are in and around the area but I use it as a teaching moment for my children: compassion and prayer for others is the lesson. I teach about stranger danger no matter where we might be.

Book selection for kids is ok. It's nice that they have puzzles and other little activities. I wish there were more programs for kids. We've mostly had an enjoyable experience as long as you can avoid the one extremely rude lady that works at the front desk.

In my due respects (And experiences) I give this library a solid 3/5, mainly for its own comfortable interior, inviting spaces, and friendly staff, sorry to say the homeless dragged out a good chunk of score. And If any staff is really going to read this, forgive me~

The most appalling library I've ever visited. The ambiance is quite jail-like, depressing and dark. The staff were terse and distracted. The hold system will not allow one to hold a book if it is checked into the library. This is absurd, every other library I have been to allows me to hold books even when they are checked in so that others do not check them out before I have time to make a visit to the library. This is the entire point of a holding system. Also the online account linked with my library card would not let me log in on several occasions and I had to make many trips to the library to get it fixed. When I hold an item through the online service it randomly cancels the hold without giving me a notice. As for renewing a book, you simply aren't allowed to if another user is holding the book you are reading. I had to return a book I was in the middle of because someone else had put a hold on it. By far the most vexatious experience with a library I have ever had. Also many unsettling creepy statues everywhere. 10/10 WOULD NOT BANG THIS LIBERRY

Kind of a homeless hang out but the homeless won't bother you. Plenty of places to sit and charge electronics. The study rooms book fast and there are very few study rooms available. If your lucky to get a study room, the rooms are spacious and have white boards. This is a good library, the staff are nice and helpful. Computers are available if you sign up, you only have an hour if there's a wait for the computers but if it's slow they will add time to your session. Small movie section but great selection. They also have a new movies section but they check out fast!

Next Issue, the homeless, not only do they hang out In the front of the building (And the inside lobby) They deal drugs outside, doesn't seem like It, but by god they really do, even witnessed It myself, even beg for money too. (Hell I had to give a guy all my change because I was afraid he was going to mug me or something.) The place is kid friendly but not after 4 pm, the staff is also nice and very forgiving If you forget to bring your library card and they know you. Though some, not so much.

In all honesty, I came to temple last year, July-ish to mix august, I had no Internet, my landlord let me use her laptop, and well, It was close, roughly a ten minute walk from corner to corner, not only did I use the library's stairs to take shortcuts to jack in the box, and the occasional trip to HEB, they even let me eat In the place from time to time. (Mind you, I'm not homeless, this place was my safe haven for not only my Integrity but my social life) The library's nice, abundant, and has all the books you could possibly drown your mind In to pass the time, be It anime, novels, ect, even having their own (Small) selection of movie series to pick, though one of my main issues were the availability, sure, some movies you could get series from 1-8, or 1-5, but others, (mainly popular ones) were taken out irregularly, It was honestly.. very stupid, ended up watching seasons 1, 2, 4 and 5 of game of thrones with no idea on three, same with the walking dead.
