I was very disappointed with the employees in the beer section today. I'm thinking they might be covering up their lack of knowledge with poor customer service. They just flat out refused to help me locate the beer I wanted. They told me they were "out". Then I asked if they could get Real Ale White in the 12 pack instead of only individual cans. The employee told me that's the last of it. Really? Ever? You'll never get that again? Like I said, NO HELP AT ALL. They told me again they were out of the Session beer I was looking for. About that time, my husband walked up, and the "beer guy" led him right to the last 12 pack of this beer. I can tell these men all need to be re-trained in customer service. Also, they need to learn to help woman too! There are too many places to buy beer for me to waste my time here.
I'm able to get some Leadslingers, Jameson, and a couple cigars while I'm there. Can't argue with that.
Awesome selection, always like going in during the holiday season to check out their special promotions, sans everything pumpkin spice of course, lol.
I LOVE beer. And Specs knows and stocks an amazing assortment of great beer. I went for black Friday to get the limited release beers that come out on that day. I was amazed at how many they had of each type. Since I live in New Orleans and do not have a Spec's I often come here for the quantity of great beer. Sure wish they would have one in New Orleans!!!
Great selection, affordable and highly competitive prices. The food section here is a great place to get hard to find items. Though alcohol selection is determined by popularity, items can be ordered relatively easily... Much moreso than other liquor stores. The commercial supply end (restaurant/bar supply) is fast, efficient and flexible. Both services are friendly.
