The food is tasty, service is improving, and your order is usually correct. Mama Fu's let you make many changes or substitutions to what is on the menu and this sometimes causes inputting changes in the computer to not be exactly how you wanted it. If necessary, they will gladly make it to your desires when you tell any of the wait staff.
We went to the new Temple location last night just before 8:00pm. We parked in the back and came in the back door. Many tables we passed were dirty and/or uncleared. The chairs on the cleared tables were in disarray. The floors had trash and food next to tables. Our server was nice enough but not overly helpful. We saw only 2 employees while we were eating. The food was okay but I didn't know the chicken would come fried in the rice bowl. When we left we passed by the kitchen which was messy and dirty. As we exited out the back to the parking lot there were 3-4 employees standing around smoking and drinking by the corner of the building. There must not have been a manager onsite due to the inefficiency of service and presentation. As a business owner I find this unacceptable. I don't believe we will return to this restaurant. It's too bad since we need more good food spots in town. Very disappointed.
The food was more than enough to satisfy the palate. The lobby area and the beverage and sitting areas were a mess. I was not impressed with the way the hostess was wiping down the tables and us having to view dirty tables coming into the restaurant. When you walk in there should not be tables with food and plates just sitting their. A hostess needs to ensure to observe the clients and clean up the table as soon as they leave so that new customers can have a clean place to sit. We had to ask for lids because there were no lids out and the beverage area was messy. Then having to hear a customer complain about how long they waited and how others were served before them wasn't cool either. Other than that the food was suburb!
You can't beat their rewards program by joining on line and also give feedback on line where they believe in rewarding you for less than 1 minute of your time.
If something is wrong, Mama Fu's Temple WILL make it right. Last week a large group of us at work ordered lunch to try this out for the first time. There were some setbacks that honestly can happen with any company so the details really are not important here. What is important, is how they handle the situation. The GM of this location is amazing and made sure that we were happy with our experience. Great customer service changed all of our view of this location and we WILL be ordering again. The food was DELICIOUS. All of us affected here at Acer would like to say "THANK YOU" for having integrity and the willingness to fix a situation to make things right.
This was a good experience for us. First time trying this place out, and we weren't disappointed. The food was good and hot, and it came out in a timely manner. We visited at the end of the lunch rush, so it's good to see that they still had good quality in service and food. We'll definitely come back again.
