Love the environment in this gym. All of the members and coaches are great, no ego and and wide range of experience. I mainly train out of the Austin location, but occasionally go out of my way to drive an hour to train here as well. You are more than a member at Johns Gym, you are part of a family.

The guy that runs this gym, Travis Moore is a special coach who really invests time into his team. This is a chance to learn from a high level black belt that is demonstrating techniques he uses himself in competition.
I dropped into one class while visiting family in Killeen. The instruction was excellent and the students were great to train with. The mats seem to be built on a suspension system that is very forgiving. Thanks again for treating me like one of your own.
For bjj instruction is top notch. Great balance between contemporary and traditional BJJ. Covers basics and new up and coming techniques. Great gi and no gi balance.
Everyone is really supportive and friendly. No egos. Growth environment. One of the high points of Temple TX.
