Good night sleep for a decent price. Great for the price if you're looking for a place to lay your head down for the night. Great service.
Older rooms have been updated and seem ok at first glance, until you in. Dirty to the point of nasty. The phone should never be used by a human. The toiley and tub has hair already in place. The tv and fixtured have so much dust. I'm afraid if i sneeze i might create a sand storm. Need quality control. There is no way someone has checked the cleanliness of these rooms in while.
I made a reservation over the phone, which I eventually had to cancel due to a change in plans. However, the gentleman I spoke with over the phone was extremely nice and helpful both times. I will definitely keep this place in mind and would love to do business with this friendly place.
For the price i paid it would've been nice to swim in a pool but they don't have one. The rooms are outdated as well as the tv. The ac did not work in either of the rooms i stayed in. No smoking rooms available. But it was quiet and check in was quick. Easy access to your room (you can park right outside your room)
My stay at this motel was not planned in advance, my car broke down in Temple and I needed a cheap place to spend the night. This was a great stay for the price. The staff was polite. It was fairly clean, although the fridge was dirty. Rooms are small and dated, but still nice. Breakfast is simple, but good. The reason I give it 3 or 4 stars instead of 5 is that (even though I called 15-30 minutes in advance) the room's window A/C unit was off when I arrived. The room was warm for a few hours after arrival. It definitely put a damper on my mid-July stay - Staff, if youre expecting guests, turn the A/C on! Maybe even keep an extra room cool in case of last-minute guests....
