Absolutely wonderful experience. My son was misdiagnosed with an ear infection at his normal clinic and was given amoxicillin to treat it. He wound up having an allergic reaction to the medication prescribed to him and the ER staff was quick to react. We didn't even have a chance to fill out our paperwork before they took us to a room. We were in and out fairly quickly and everyone there was kind and seemed to be knowledgeable in their areas. Definitely reccomend this location and the staff.
Mrs.Renee at the front desk is just amazing i mean a God loving beautiful woman inside and out. My (5 year old) daughter had swallowed a penny and it got stuck so we were transferred from waco to this hospital and i had to leave everything in my car so i had no id no food and no money. When we were waiting to leave she took her own money out and bought me and my daughter food. She truly has a loving caring soul. Thank you so much Mrs. Renee!!
I took my son to the emergency room because he hit his head and while my baby turned out to be fine, I threw out my back halfway through the visit. My son was running around and I was able to keep up with him but unable to lift him. I was in great pain and I understand that it's a children's hospital and they are not equipped to help an adult, however the reception area had at least 5 people standing behind the emergency room counter who were just watching me cry while my toddler ran down the hall from me. If my family didn't just happen to show up and grab the baby for me, I would have never been able to leave. My mother noted the disgusted and annoyed looks on the nurses and receptionists faces. I have never seen a more unfriendly and hostile environment. Moreover, I was by myself and clearly needed assistance and while they did provide me with a wheeled chair, they wheeled me to the door and completely ignored my toddler, the only one I was truly concerned about. I can't say I don't reccomend anyone visiting this hospital, mainly cause it's the only children's hospital in town but if you have an emergency, make sure no adults are in pain because they absolutely do not care and treat it as an inconvenience.
My daughter has respiratory special needs, so we basically live here. Everyone is always wonderful with her care and super helpful
Went here with our newborn. It was fairly late in the evening but the wait time was impressively short. They saw us quickly and were very kind and understanding.
