They are awesome and took fantastic care of my mother who was diagnosed with cancer and is now Cancer free thanks to the surgeon and staff!! I thank god for this hospital, They deserve way more than 5 stars, Dr. Shah saved her life and I am forever grateful to him and his staff!! No other hospital like this and I have been an LPN for years in Florida!!!! EVERYONE is fantastic, thank you again for my darling mothers care!!
This hospital is horrible. I would not give it a single star. My niece went in at 8: 45 am to the ER by 2: 45pm she was still in the waiting area. She got called in at an hour later. It's 6: 47 and she barely had a CT scan done. How sad... These are people who are very sick and ER doesn't give a rats ass. Not to mention that there was people still waiting there from the night before.
I give this hospital one star I can not give this place a zero. The staff does not listen to what anyone has to say. You can tell the staff that you are allergic to a medication and they still give it to you. You go into the emergency room for something and they don't traet you for it. The staff is rude and treats you like they don't want you there. They do not want to help you unless you are having a baby. The doctors will tell you one thing then turn around and tell the staff something totally different. If you have high blood pressure they will try to kill you by making it go over the top. My husband went into the hospital and came out worse then how he went in. He went in the ER for a cough. They told us that the cough was caused by his heart. So instead of treating his cough he got admitted for heart problems. He was told by the doctor that he could go get fresh air if he needed it. Then there was the shift change. All the sudden he could not do anything. He has high blood pressure but that day it was good. By the time he left the hospital his blood pressure was outrageously high. The nurses in the morning were very good and professional. The night nurses were rude and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Dr. Timothy McCormick is he best doctor that I have personally ever encountered. He took my mother in when she was consumed with cancer and made sure she got all the treatment and surgeries she needed despite her being low income and unable to work, they made it happen and worked with her until now when she is finally getting on her feet with insurance and ssi. She was at death's door and now she has the chance to have a future. He truly cares about the patient and his wonderful, engaging personality truly makes him a gold star human being, as well as a gold star doctor. God bless that man!
Greatest. I have been traveling there 300 miles one way for 11 years to the neuro dept. Great doc and staff. Easy to talk to and contact on phone. Best care in Texas.
