Mr. Perez went beyond “normal” mechanic service and offered to drive me to and from work a 22 mile round trip at no additional charge, as this was my only vehicle. He showed me the areas in need of repair and discussed which items were higher priorities. He found a life threatening area where a brake line bracket had been bent in and was rubbing against my rear tire which was soon to cause a blowout and combined with the swaying would cause my vehicle to roll over. I found it strange that Goodyear did not mention this as I could see it very clearly when Mr. Perez pointed it out to me.
I am extremely satisfied with the work Mr. Perez did and I agree his personality, work, and rates are exceptional. He was very through in showing the work he completed and my truck is running perfectly. Honest mechanics are very hard to find these days and quite a lot take advantage of women needing mechanical service but not Mr. Perez. I will always recommend him to anyone and everyone.
My car needed three broken motor mounts replaced, new plugs (which required removing the manifold cover) new wires and a new distributor. I was shown the wear and/or damage to all of the replaced parts, which used to be the normal practice at good garages yet seems to happen less and less these days. I dropped the car off that day and was promptly given a ride home (a 10 mile one-way trip) and then picked up the next day (around noon) when my car was ready, all at no additional charge. The cost of repair was very reasonable (the best I've seen in many years) and the quality of work was excellent. My car is almost 10 years old but now it runs and sounds like it did when it was brand new.
Snake in the grass. I called and spoke with this guy and he agreed on a price then when I pull up to his shop he sees me driving a nice car and all of a sudden the price bumps up 350$ horrible experience I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone including my worst enemy!!!

My truck needed struts and rear mounts as it was swaying side to side very dangerously. I took it to Goodyear, they checked it out and made a list of the items they felt needed repair and gave me an estimate of $3,000 and no way could I afford this so I Googled mechanics in Temple, Texas and found Mr. Perez. Mr. Perez told me to come by and he would check it for me right away. He agreed with some of the items Goodyear listed as needing replacement but said some of the other items were unnecessary. He was extremely honest, very understanding and willing to do the labor even if I supplied the parts. He directed me to some of the more reasonable auto part shops in town.
I don't know if it was because I was a woman, but he wanted to do more than what he had to and the price was outrageous! I would not recommend anybody to him.
