This place is under new ownership in the last couple of years.
They offer an AC inspection for $32.95. I'll tell you right now, it's a rip off. They said they inspected my car's AC and found no problems. So when I brought it home to charge the AC system myself, there was a huge leak right where it gets filled! They obviously didn't even look at the system. And they wanted $83 dollars to tear apart the dash to search for other problems. DO NOT go to this shop. They will just charge you for as much as possible.
I've had several items done here, including a engine replacement. Their rates are fair and the mechanics are honest and do a great job.
I made an appointment a week in advance to have two oil leaks fixed, replace an EGR valve and to find and repair an antifreeze leak. The price to fix the oil leaks and EGR valve was to be $600.00. The price for the antifreeze leak to be determined when the leak was found. They called me the day I dropped it off and told me my car was ready, but the antifreeze leak was not fixed but that they had located the leak. It would be another $300.00 to fix the antifreeze leak. The parts were to come from the Ford dealership. I told them that was to much and I would get the parts from O'Reillys for less than $60.00 but I needed to know whether the thermostat housing was a one or two port. They didn't know and had to go check. They told me it was a two port. I got the parts and took them to them. Of course it was wrong, it was a one port, so I said I'll be right back, (O'Reillys is a mile down the road.) I went and got the right part, went back to Olsons and they were locked up. this was at 5:49. I live 40 miles away, so, I took the part back to O'Reillys and asked them to hold for Olsons. The next morning I called Olsons at 7:30 AM and told them the part was at O"Reillys (already paid for). I called again at 11:30 and was told that they did not pick up parts, that if I wanted to use those parts, I would have to bring them to them. I told them that I had been there last night and they were locked up. The person I talked to (Billy) interupted me to tell me that they were there till 6:00. Once again I tried to tell him that the doors were locked and once again he interupted me to tell me that they were there until 6:00 turning rotors. I said "I don't care if you were there till 12:00, the doors were locked." Before I could finish Billy started shouting that I would not yell at him and I could just come and get my car. He then hung up on me. (Had I had a ride into town at that time, I would have gone and gotten my car.) I called back and spoke with the girl, she said that she would have Mark call me (which he never did )and she would call O'Reillys to deliver the part. I called O'Reillys 30 minutes later and the part was still there so I asked them to deliver it and O'Reillys did so. I got a ride into Temple and and was at Olsons by 1:30. When I walked in Billy was up front and turned around walked out and I heard him say "She's here." I asked if my car was ready, and the girl said yes, (they never called me to let me know it was ready.) The bill was $490.00, they did not replace the EGR valve. The thermostat housing still leaks and when I called about it the next day, I was told it still leaks because it was an aftermarket part and not a Ford part. These people are rude, they do not do what they say they are going to do, please don't take your vehicle to them, they will rip you off.
